Max is a person who has walked many different paths in life, had serious failings and setbacks, yet managed to not just survive the cyclones of life’s experiences, but turned them around and used them to leverage his successes.  He is always looking forward and not focusing too much on the past, unless he needs to recall the values of whatever lessons he learned.
