Alison founded Isla Animals in Isla Mujeres, Mexico in 2004.  Her shelter now works with other areas of Mexico as well and this publication gives insight into her work and the difference it has made in her life and those animals, which number in the thousands, who were given a new lease on an otherwise dead end reality.
